St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Part-Time, evenings medical administrative professional to support patient registration and information workflow across hospital locations.

The role emphasizes accuracy in patient identification, insurance verification, and coordinating with clinical departments. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or healthcare-related certification, strong customer service skills, and familiarity with health information systems (Epic).

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• General computer experience and ability to type fluently, accurately, and quickly.
• Insurance background preferred and knowledge of health terminology is helpful.
• Experience in health care settings and knowledge of health information systems (Epic) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and validate patient identities in the hospital information system to ensure accurate electronic medical records.
• Cross-train in all areas of the location or region, including outpatient and Emergency Department areas.
• Welcome patients and visitors and provide friendly, courteous service.
• Assist with patient registration, including demographics, insurance verification, and patient look-up.
• Promote MyChart and patient self-service capabilities to engage patients in their care.
