Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.
• Experience in patient registration or healthcare billing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients at workstations or at bedside to obtain all necessary account information.
• Provide exemplary customer service
• Ensure charts are completed and accurate
• Verify all insurance and obtain pre-certification/authorization
• Calculate and collect patient liability amounts
• Secure all signatures necessary for treatments, release of medical information, and payment of services from legally responsible parties.
