Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance is seeking a Part-time Patient Access Representative II (PAR II) for the CHA Cambridge Hospital's MedSurg 6 North unit. The role blends administrative/clerical tasks with clinical support for a fast-paced telemetry unit focused on post-operative and general medical-surgical care.

The PAR II will assist with patient flow, coordinate with nursing and physicians, and participate in ensuring timely, accurate information and smooth department operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC) required.
• One year of nursing assistant experience.
• Or currently enrolled in a nursing program with two clinical rotations completed.
• Or completion of an approved certified nursing assistant program.
• Or equivalent experience as determined by the CNO or designee.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative/clerical support and clinical assistance in PAR II duties.
• Assist in patient flow and department operations to ensure smooth workflow.
• Support the MedSurg 6 North team in daily tasks and patient care processes.

Education

High School Diploma

BLS Healthcare Provider (AHA or ARC)

Nursing assistant experience

Enrolled in nursing program with two cycles of clinical rotation

Certified nursing assistant training program

Equivalent experience per CNO or designee
