Job summary

Ashland University in Ashland, OH is seeking a part-time food service worker for the second shift to prepare pasta, sauces, breadsticks and toppings for daily production.

You will complete related paperwork documenting product usage and temperature logs, maintain safe food temperatures, rotate products, and clean the area during and after the shift. Anticipated start date is 10/05/2026 with 29 hours per week at $13.50/hr.

Qualifications

• Performs duties in an efficient and positive manner, meeting the objectives of Ashland University and the needs of the student customer.
• Follows state health department guidelines and dress codes.
• Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Ashland University will not sponsor or take over sponsorship for an employment visa.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pasta, sauces, breadsticks, and toppings needed for daily production.
• Complete related paperwork to document accurate product usage and temp logs.
• Maintaining safe food temperatures throughout meal period. Rotation of product, clean up and sanitation of area during and after shift.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
