Job summary

Ashland University Bookstore is seeking a part-time team member for the PM swing shift in Student Dining. You will work across multiple serving stations and relieve coworkers on days off to ensure smooth dining service.

Rate of pay is $14.00/hr. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; Ashland University will not sponsor visas. The position schedules about 29.9 hours per week, with varied shifts Monday through Friday and alternating weekends.

Job Description

Responsible for working multiple points of service, relieving employees on days off in the following serving positions:

• Daily Special
• Dining Attendant
• Deli
• Salad Bar

Position is scheduled Monday - Friday and every other weekend.

Required Qualifications

• Follows state health department guidelines and dress codes.

• Able to work with little or no supervision in a busy environment.
• Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Ashland University will not sponsor or take over sponsorship for an employment visa.

Physical Demands

• Bending, lifting, standing for long periods.
• Tolerance to extreme heat when working in and around a kitchen environment.
