Job summary

Ashland University Bookstore is seeking a Part-Time AM Pasta Server for Student Dining to support daily kitchen operations, including pasta and sauce prep, breadsticks, and toppings.

Typical shifts are 7:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Monday–Friday, with every other weekend 11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. The position requires U.S. work authorization; wage is $13.50 per hour. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to work with little supervision, and able to stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Performs duties in an efficient and positive manner.
• Meets the objectives of Ashland University and the needs of the student customer.
• Follows state health department guidelines and dress codes.
• Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pasta, sauces, breadsticks, and toppings needed for daily production.
• Complete related paperwork to document accurate product usage, and temp logs.
• Maintain safe food temperatures throughout meal period.
• Rotation of product, clean up and sanitation of area during and after shift.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
• 7:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Monday-Friday; every other weekend 11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
