Job summary

Ashland University is hiring for a Part-Time PM Swing Shift in Student Dining. You will work across multiple dining stations, relieving staff on days off, and assisting with Daily Special, Pizza, Pasta, Deli, Salad Bar, and Dessert service. Shifts run Monday–Friday and every other weekend.

Role emphasizes reliability, ability to work with minimal supervision, and adherence to health and safety guidelines in a busy campus dining environment. Hourly pay is scheduled at 14.00/hr.

• Daily Special
• Dining Attendant
• Pizza
• Pasta
• Deli
• Salad Bar
• Dessert

Position is scheduled Monday – Friday and every other weekend.

Required Qualifications

• Performs the duties in an efficient and positive manner, meeting the objectives of Ashland University and the needs of the student customer.
• Follows state health department guidelines and dress codes.
• Detail oriented, reliable, self-starter.
• Able to work with little or no supervision in a busy environment.
• Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Ashland University will not sponsor or take over sponsorship for an employment visa.

• Bending, lifting, standing for long periods.
• Tolerance to extreme heat when working in and around a kitchen environment.
