Job summary

CBRE Government & Defense Services is seeking a part-time Commercial Cleaner for evening shifts in Monroe, NC. You will perform basic cleaning duties, including mopping, sweeping, trash disposal, and restroom restocking, ensuring high-traffic areas stay pristine.

Responsibilities include cleaning storage areas, dusting surfaces, cleaning windows, and following safety procedures. Must have a high school diploma and at least 2 years’ custodial experience.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning duties include mopping, sweeping, trash disposal.
• Able to follow established routines and safety procedures.
• Experience in facilities, custodial, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas as designated by supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage areas, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment; rearrange as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with cleaners and squeegees.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stored safely and securely at all times.
• Follow standardized cleaning processes per company standards.
• Attend staff meetings and required training sessions.
• Follow basic work routines and procedures; use discretion within scope.
