Job summary

Tulsa Tech is seeking an instructor to teach in the ACD program during evening hours. Classes run Monday through Friday with potential Saturday mornings. A CDL B with Passenger Endorsement and School Bus Instructor Endorsement is required, and experience teaching adults is preferred.

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Compensation is $35 per hour. Applicants should be reliable, punctual, and capable of maintaining current attendance and progress records while delivering effective

Qualifications

• CDL B or higher with Passenger Endorsement and School Bus Instructor Endorsement required.
• Experience teaching adults strongly preferred.
• Evening shift; available Mon-Fri evenings and possible Saturday mornings during terms.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students using current instructional strategies to ensure high-quality classroom teaching.
• Manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment.
• Maintain records of attendance, progress and grades.
• Ensure syllabi, supply lists and lesson plans are current before class.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in training and teaching others.
• Participate in professional development for the ACD department.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
