Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of painting work.
• Prepare surfaces: sanding and removing old paint.
• Fill holes, cracks and joints with putty or filler.
• Tape, float and texture walls and ceilings.
• Mix paints to match specified colors and apply with brushes, rollers or spray.
• Stain, seal and varnish wood surfaces; ensure safety procedures.
• Erect scaffolding or set up ladders; deliver supplies and maintain records.
• Inspect completed work and coordinate with principals and supervisors.
