Endeavor Health's Evanston Hospital seeks a part-time Registered Nurse in the PACU for evening shifts (5p–11p, M-W-F) with call requirements. You will deliver safe, compassionate perioperative nursing care, guide junior staff, and coordinate with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes across the perioperative continuum.

Required IL RN license with at least 1 year in PACU/ICU or related areas; BLS CPR is mandatory, ACLS/PALS preferred, BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required.
• License/Certification/Experience: IL RN License; 1 year in PACU/ICU/Behavioral Health preferred; CPR/BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred; CPAN/CAPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care on a specific unit.
• Manages perioperative care for patients undergoing electroconvulsive therapy (ECT).
• Performs Phase 1 & 2 care for peri-anesthesia patients from OR and related areas.
• Guides unlicensed staff and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure outcomes.
• Communicates with nurses, physicians, and others to optimize patient care.

Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
