Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our hospital team. Shifts are 5pm–11pm, Mon/Wed/Fri with call requirements on a dedicated unit, serving diverse patient populations.

You will deliver safe, compassionate nursing care using the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and the health-care team, and guide assigned unlicensed staff in delivering interdisciplinary care. Perioperative ECT and anesthesia support are included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing is required.
• BSN preferred.
• IL RN License is required.
• 1 year experience in PACU/ICU/Behavioral Health preferred.
• CPR/BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• CPAN/CAPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care on a specific unit.
• Utilize the nursing process to plan and evaluate care.
• Guide unlicensed staff and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Perioperative care for patients undergoing ECT.
• Phase 1 & 2 care of peri anesthesia patients.
