Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time evening shift (5pm–11pm, Monday, Wednesday, Friday) with on-call requirements to support a surgical/perioperative unit. The nurse will apply the nursing process, ensure patient safety, and coordinate with the health care team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Requirements include graduation from an approved school of nursing, IL RN license, CPR/BLS, and 1 year of PACU/ICU or behavioral health experience; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• IL RN License required.
• CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• 1 year experience in PACU/ICU or behavioral health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provides safe, effective nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit.
• Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care; involves patient and family as appropriate.
• Guides unlicensed personnel and collaborates with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes.
