Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician/Senior Nursing Attendant for the evening shift at LOC 38th St PACU. Candidates will assist professional nurses in delivering compassionate care to patients while fulfilling all assigned care tasks and supporting unit maintenance.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 6 months of hospital experience preferred. BLS certification is necessary, along with effective communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Patient Care Technician program with at least 6 months of hospital experience.
• BLS or Heartsaver CPR/AED certification required upon entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist the professional nurse in caring for patients and families.
