Utz Quality Foods seeks a dedicated Packaging Machine Operator for our Wilkes-Barre, PA facility. You will support production, operate packaging equipment, assist with sanitation and inventory, and back up in other areas as needed. Shift is Mon-Fri 2:30pm–11pm, with emphasis on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience operating packaging machines and equipment, including printers and conveyors.
• Ability to perform line setup and daily startup checks.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds and assist with material handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate packaging machines and equipment such as printers, labelers, and conveyors.
• Ensure proper packaging line setup and readiness for production runs.
• Complete daily operator checklists at shift change and startup.
• Verify correct operation, weights, codes, and seal quality on bags and cases.
• Record film usage and monitor waste percentage; ensure quality and food safety.
