Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is expanding and we’re seeking Packaging Machine Operators to join the Weekend Day Shift, Friday to Sunday 6PM-6AM. This role offers a steady 4‑day workweek and the chance to grow with a household name in snacks.

You’ll set up and operate packaging lines safely, perform start‑of‑shift checks, monitor quality, troubleshoot minor issues, and keep records. Perks include an on‑site health clinic, a 24/7 fitness center, and programs that support growth and wellness.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
• Ability to read English instructions and communicate with operators and maintenance personnel.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift license training provided.
• Knowledge of packaging machine equipment is a plus, training available.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate packaging lines safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine start-of-shift and in-day checks to ensure machines run properly.
• Monitor packaging quality (weights, seals, codes, pricing).
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and support maintenance as needed.
• Keep accurate production records and usage logs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Communicate with the next shift and support teamwork across lines.
• Train new operators as needed.
