Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, LLC is seeking Packaging Machine Operators for the Weekend Night Shift (Fri–Sun 6PM–6AM). The role offers a 3-day workweek, opportunities to learn and grow within a household snack brand, and a comprehensive benefits package with an on-site health clinic and fitness center.

Responsibilities include setting up packaging lines, performing routine checks, monitoring quality, and assisting maintenance.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Experience with packaging machinery or food production preferred.
• Able to read English instructions and communicate with team.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to obtain forklift license (training provided).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate packaging lines safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine checks at shift start and throughout the day to ensure machines run properly.
• Monitor packaging quality (weights, seals, codes, pricing).
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and support maintenance as needed.
• Keep accurate records of production, film usage, and quality checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Communicate with the next shift and support teamwork across lines.
• Train new operators as needed.
