Job summary

Franciscan Health Crown Point is seeking a part-time phlebotomy technician to collect blood specimens and perform basic laboratory office duties. You will register patients, enter data, and handle specimen processing and paperwork.

Responsibilities include preparing specimens for testing or sending them to central or reference laboratories, performing limited waived POC tests as authorized, and occasionally driving or joining on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous phlebotomy experience and/or training required.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• May travel to other locations.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens and perform laboratory office duties.
• Register patients, enter data into the computer system, and process paperwork.
• Prepare specimens for testing or transport to central or reference laboratories; perform limited waived POC tests as authorized.
• Occasionally drive and participate in on-call rotations.
