Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking Transporters to provide safe patient transport across shifts, maintain infection control, and support clinical teams. You will follow policies, communicate clearly, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout each move.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read, write, and speak English, and strong customer service skills. Positions available part-time (20 hrs/week) and PRN, with pay between $18.85 and $28.30 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Transporters provide safe patient transport following policies and procedures.
• Receives and confirms Ticket to Ride documentation prior to transport.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort; follows infection control policies.
• Communicates delays or issues to dispatcher and nursing staff.
• Ensures proper body mechanics and safe transfer of patients.
