Job summary

Bickford Senior Living in Stafford, VA is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to support resident care and ensure daily medication needs are met with compassion and dignity. This role involves following the MAR and six rights, using the eMAR system, and collaborating with clinical leaders to deliver safe care.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification or 1+ year senior care experience.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to follow the Six rights of medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to ensure medications are given per physician orders.
• Follow Six rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as needed.
• Demonstrate Bickford's Mission to all team members on shift.
