Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Manassas, VA to oversee receiving, order pulling, loading, and paperwork for next-day deliveries. The role requires strong leadership, experience in a fast-paced food distribution environment, and a focus on accurate, timely execution.

You will manage administrative staff, coordinate with the Warehouse Manager on pick planning, and use the company WMS to drive productivity while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years of supervisory experience in a food & beverage distribution center.
• 2-4 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics with leadership responsibilities.
• 2-4 years of shipping, receiving and distribution of goods.

Responsibilities

• Supervises administrative staff including hiring, scheduling, training, and evaluating performance.
• Ensures timely, accurate order pulling and proper loading for all orders.
• Maintains proper stock rotation and FIFO procedures for received goods.
• Promotes a strong service quality ethic and ensures staff understand their roles.
• Coordinates pick planning with Warehouse Manager.
• Utilizes warehouse management systems to maximize productivity and analyzes operation performance.
• Handles building security including locking and alarms after night shift and enforces safety programs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
