Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Surgical Technician for the Evening shift at Osborn Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. The role supports the OR team by scrubbing in, handling instruments, and maintaining a sterile field during procedures.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 10+ months of surgical tech experience, and BLS certification; an Associate's in Surgical Technology is preferred. The position offers a $10k sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and full-time evening hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates in Surgical Technology preferred.
• >10 months of surgical technician experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Certified Surgical Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs and provides instruments, sutures and sterile supplies during surgical procedures.
• Assesses patient, physician and procedure requirements and communicates needs.
• Prepares for procedures by pulling appropriate instruments and ensuring working order.
• Acts as a team member, orienting and guiding new staff and students.
• Restocks and cleans Operating Rooms and equipment; maintains a clean, safe workspace.
