Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Surgical Technician for Osborn Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. The role supports the OR/Main department with day shift (3x12hr) and a $10k sign-on bonus, performing scrubbing, instrument handling and sterile technique to ensure safe patient care.

Ideal candidates will have >10 months of surgical tech experience, a High School diploma or GED, and BLS certification; an Associate degree in Surgical Technology is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates in Surgical Technology preferred.
• >10 months experience as a surgical technician required.
• BLS certification required.
• Certified Surgical Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs and provides instruments, sutures and other sterile supplies during surgical procedures.
• Maintains a proper sterile field.
• Prepares for surgical procedures by pulling appropriate instruments and supplies; ensures working order of instruments.
• Acts as a health care team member, including orientation and instruction of scrub personnel.
• Participates in restocking and cleaning of Operating Rooms and equipment.
