Job summary

Community Solutions Inc is seeking a Part-Time Operations Assistant for the Bridgeport AIC program in Bridgeport, CT. The role focuses on supervising clients, monitoring program activities, and providing transport as needed. Schedules are Mon–Thu 4–8 pm and Fri 1–5 pm with starting wage of $21.13 per hour.

Responsibilities include sign-in/out, safety inspections, maintaining files, and confidentiality. The program uses motivational interviewing and trauma-informed practices to support offenders

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus one year experience in social services or criminal justice, or three years working with the public.
• Good oral, written and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all client and visitor sign in and out of the facility.
• Conduct weekly safety and sanitation inspections of the facility and submit to PD weekly.
• Perform general custodial duties.
• Maintain client files and ensure confidential information handling.
• Provide client transportation as approved by the Program Director.
• Complete incident reports as needed and submit to PD prior to leaving shift.
• Register for and attend all required trainings and refreshers including MI.
• Participate in administration and collection of WAI surveys.
• Secure urines from same sex clients and document in CSI data systems.
• Monitor JAMS caseload to ensure urine and Breathalyzer tests are requested and secured.
• Communicate client non-compliance to referral source within 24 hours.
• Serve as a role model to clients and staff.
• Provide coverage of front desk duties as assigned.
• Maintain knowledge of agency policies and code of ethics.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
