Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Southeast Florida in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician Data Entry on-site. The role focuses on accurate prescription entry, high-volume problem solving, and excellent customer interactions over the phone.

Training is provided; weekend/holiday hours may be required, with full-time benefits for eligible staff. Candidates should have a Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB preferred), a high school diploma or GED, and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements)
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB)
• 2+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred
• Great attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into operating system accurately to eliminate errors
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing
• Communicate with customers on the telephone and respond quickly and courteously
• Receive, evaluate and follow up with doctors? offices on refills
• Develop proficiency in the utilization of all pharmacy systems (eg document imaging, legacy pharmacy computer operating system)
• Assist with filing, packaging, inventory, and processing prescriptions as needed
