Job summary

Specialty Rx, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Florida. The role focuses on entering orders for pharmacist review and maintaining accurate customer records while handling phone inquiries and faxes.

The position is onsite with a 2:30pm–11:00pm shift and rotating weekends. Ideal candidates are registered with the FL Board of Pharmacy, have experience in pharmacy, and can work independently and reliably in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with FL Board of Pharmacy.
• Previous experience in pharmacy is required.
• Knowledge of brand name and generic medications.
• Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.
• Must be multitasking and reliable.
• Knowledge of SIG-Codes.
• Computer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review.
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information.
• Answer phones and respond to order inquiries.
• Clarify orders as needed.
• Triage incoming faxes.
