Chimes District of Columbia is seeking a Custodian to support clean and safe spaces at an on-site location in Washington, DC. The role runs Monday through Friday from 12:30pm to 9:00pm, with duties spanning public and work areas, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces per contract specs.

Responsibilities include rest room disinfection, floor care, furniture and equipment cleaning, trash removal, and adherence to safety and security policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months custodial work experience preferred.
• Candidates with disabilities preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform cleaning in public and work space areas per contract specs.
• Disinfect restrooms and surfaces; descale showers and toilets.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchens, break rooms, and offices.
• Move and arrange heavy items; operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Attend required meetings and adhere to security procedures.
