Job summary

Chimes International LTD in Washington, DC is seeking a Custodian (Mon-Fri 10:30am-7:00pm) to perform cleaning and building services in public and work spaces, including executive areas. The role is on-site with a set pay rate of $18.95 per hour and requires adherence to contract specifications and safety policies.

You will handle restroom disinfection, floor care, trash removal, and routine maintenance tasks, with opportunities to participate in special restoration work and to move heavy items

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of custodial work experience preferred.
• Candidates with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas according to contract specifications.
• Disinfect restrooms and public surfaces as required.
• Move, arrange, and lift heavy items.
• Attend required meetings and in-service training.
• Pass and comply with all building and security requirements and procedures.
