Job summary

Park View is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to oversee the PM shift, providing clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff while ensuring safe, compassionate patient care. The role focuses on staffing, supervision, and adherence to care standards in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will bring an RN license and a Nursing degree with prior supervisory experience, along with strong communication and organizational skills to support a collaborative team and maintain

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Previous nursing supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff during the PM shift.
• Coordinate daily nursing operations and ensure appropriate staffing and assignments.
• Monitor patient care and ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to nurses and support staff.
• Respond to changes in patient conditions and clinical emergencies.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, administrators, patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Assist with staff scheduling, performance management, and resolving workplace concerns.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement, infection prevention, and patient safety initiatives.
• Conduct shift-to-shift communication and ensure continuity of care.
• Serve as a leadership resource for staff throughout the PM shift.
