The role supports residents with personal care, mobility, meals, and wellbeing while adhering to infection prevention policies; requires CNA certification and ongoing competency testing, with driving responsibilities per facility needs.

Qualifications

• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing or in the process of obtaining CNA certification.
• Yearly competency testing and maintaining 12+ hours of continuing education annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of an RN.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques; perform ROM and passive exercises.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and nutritionally appropriate snacks; ensure a positive dining experience.
• Document resident interactions and changes; communicate care concerns to the charge nurse.

Education

CNA certification (State Board of Nursing)

High school graduate or GED (preferred)
