Job summary

Brooke Knoll Village, a skilled nursing facility in Avon, Indiana, seeks compassionate Unit Managers for evening shifts to supervise resident care and coordinate nursing services with administration and families.

You will develop and implement methods for coordinating nursing services, manage the nursing department, and participate in admissions and discharge processes. Strong English communication and calmness under stress are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Indiana license as RN or LPN required.
• Experience or training in nursing services administration, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing desirable.
• Preferably 1+ year in nursing administration/supervision in a health facility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing services with resident services and facility administration.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing services department under the Director of Nursing/Administrator.
• Assist in planning and maintaining resident discharge procedures and plans.
• Participate in interviewing and screening residents for admission.
• Notify attending physicians and families promptly of significant changes in residents’ health status.
• Develop work assignments for nursing services personnel to meet residents’ care needs.
