Job summary

Benchmark at Orchard Valley in Wilbraham, MA is hiring a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Registered Nurse (RN) to join our warm, home-like community. The 2p-9p shift pays $31-$34 per hour and provides stability and opportunities for growth within a values-driven team.

You will deliver compassionate nursing care to residents, accurately assess and document status, supervise Resident Care Assistants, coordinate with physicians and families, and support resident independence while

Qualifications

• Active LPN license and CPR certification.
• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with elderly residents desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents' status.
• Observes and reports significant changes to care team per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises daily tasks of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via case management.
• Balances service demands with resident independence.
• Recognizes and prevents elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and appropriate alarms.
