Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Norwood, MA is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver attentive nursing care to our residents in a warm, home‑like environment. You will join a dedicated team, document resident status, and contribute to a safe, supportive community.

Part-time shifts are available 7:30 AM–3:30 PM or 2:00 PM–9:00 PM, with every‑other weekend and potential for full‑time. You will mentor Resident Care Assistants, coordinate with care providers, and respond to

Qualifications

• Current state LPN license and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred; experience with the elderly is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports significant changes in resident behavior and health to supervisors and physicians per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors and guides Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via an effective case management process.
• Balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and personal emergency response system calls.
