Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Davenport is seeking a Nursing House Supervisor to oversee evening nursing operations in a dynamic hospital setting. The role emphasizes leadership, patient safety, and collaborative practice within Trinity Health MercyOne's mission.

You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with standards, mentor team members, and participate in performance improvement. The position includes weekend rotation, PTO accrual from day one, and competitive pay.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor’s degree required within five years of hire.
  • Current Iowa RN license at time of hire; IL license within 12 months.
  • At least two years of relevant clinical experience.
  • BLS and ACLS are required within specified timelines.
  • Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire.
  • Specialty practice certification is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

This House Supervisor position at MercyOne Genesis Davenport offers competitive pay, benefits and PTO accrual starting on day one, and exposure that supports future leadership development.

Schedule:
  • 32 hours per week
  • Weekday Shifts: evening hours, 1530-2330
  • Weekend Hours: every other weekend, 07-1930
  • Holiday rotation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required
  • Bachelor’s degree is required within five (5) years of hire, with continuous enrollment in a relevant program documented
  • Current Iowa RN license at time of hire. A secondary RN license for IL must be obtained within 12 months of the hire date
  • At least two (2) years of relevant clinical experience is required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within three (3) months of hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support ( AC LS) is required within three (3) months of hire
  • Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter for both Child and Dependent Adult Abuse training is required within six (6) months of hire
  • Specialty practice certification is preferred
  • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment
  • Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health and MercyOne
