Job summary

General Security Services Corporation (GSSC) is seeking a Government Facility Security Professional to perform patrols, monitor CCTV and alarms, and provide professional security services at a government facility in Saint Paul, MN.

The Security Officer will document activities, respond to calls, and uphold post orders while maintaining a safe environment and positive customer interactions with employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• U.S. citizen or work-authorized.
• Pass background checks and drug screen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Complete GSSC Basic Training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interior and exterior patrols of assigned facilities and parking areas.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems and respond to incidents.
• Produce clear, concise written reports of shift activities.
• Maintain a professional, visible presence and assist clients and visitors.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, regulations, and client contracts.
