Job summary

Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse for evening/night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) on a rotating schedule that includes every third weekend and rotating holidays. You will provide professional nursing care, direct the care team, and document patient progress with critical thinking and independence.

Minimum qualifications include MI RN licensure and BLS certification; you will collaborate with multiple disciplines, participate in performance improvement, and adhere to ANA

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the State of Michigan as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification from ARC or AHA.
• Ability to perform nursing assessment and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using critical thinking and the nursing process.
• Direct and supervise nursing support staff and coordinate care with the team.
• Document care, patient condition and response to treatment in a timely manner.
• Conduct assessments, update plans of care, and evaluate outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control standards and legal nursing scope.
• Participate in unit performance improvement and staff meetings.
