Job summary

Absolut Center of Endicott, a CMS 4-star skilled nursing facility in Endicott, NY, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead nursing staff on evening and night shifts and ensure high-quality resident care.

You will oversee LPNs and CNAs, coordinate care on assigned shifts, participate in care planning with interdisciplinary teams, mentor staff, maintain documentation, and uphold regulatory standards. NY RN license required; CPR; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN license in NYS
• BSN preferred or ADN accepted
• Supervisory experience in healthcare
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; ability to prioritize and act under pressure
• CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, including LPNs and CNAs
• Coordinate and oversee nursing care activities on assigned shifts to ensure regulatory compliance
• Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs and monitor care delivery
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Assist with assessment and management of complex resident cases, including medications and treatments
• Mentor and support nursing staff with education and feedback
• Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to resident care, staffing, and incidents
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff
