Job summary

Genesiscareers seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to care for residents in Lewiston, ME. You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with the nursing team to develop effective plans of care.

This role includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus for evening shifts and a $7,500 sign-on bonus for night shifts, plus a range of benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements: graduate of an approved school of nursing, active Maine RN license, CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Active RN license in Maine is required.
• CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team to develop effective plans of care.
• Establish realistic, measurable short- and long-term patient goals with interventions to minimize rehospitalizations and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure tasks are carried out.
• Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.
