Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Mid Coast Hospital. This is a full-time, 36-hour night shift position offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus for 0-2 years RN experience and $20,000 for more than 2 years.

RN I level is for those developing essential skills; BSN preferred, active RN licensure, and BLS certification within 30 days of start. Join a 24/7 ED staffed by skilled nurses and physicians to deliver urgent and critical care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in applicable state; BLS certification required or within 30 days of start.
• 1+ years of relevant RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.
• Support and participate in the care for patients on the Emergency Department unit.
