Mount Joseph at Waterville in Maine is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for night shift to provide direct nursing care to residents, assess needs, and implement individualized care plans. You’ll work with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.

The role requires Maine RN license, strong independence and leadership, excellent attendance, and the ability to communicate with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in Maine.
• Able to work scheduled night shift.
• Ability to work independently with leadership and supervision.
• Strong communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Excellent attendance record required.
• Willing to float to another unit or stay later than scheduled shift as needed.
• Maintain resident and staff confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering treatments, medications, and therapies as ordered by physicians.
• Assess resident needs, identify potential problems, and develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure that resident care is coordinated and effective.
• Report significant changes in resident condition to primary care physicians, families, and/or designated POA's and guardians.
• Document nursing notes accurately and in a timely manner.
• Identify areas of concern and communicate with nursing supervisors and Director of Nursing as needed.
• Provide education and support to residents, families, and staff on care and treatment plans.
