Job summary

Walter Reed Post Acute is seeking a devoted Registered Nurse (RN) to join our resident-focused team. You will deliver skilled clinical care, monitor resident conditions, and ensure treatment plans are implemented per physician orders and care plans.

We offer both full-time and part-time roles with evening or night shifts. Benefits include shift differentials, daily pay, and a chance to waive benefits for a higher base salary. Virginia RN license and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Virginia.
• BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per accepted nursing standards and care plans.
• Follow care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Administer medications and treatments per care plan.
• Monitor and promptly report changes in resident conditions to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per physician orders and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Ensure infection control protocols and nursing regulations are followed.
