Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for Surgical Oncology at the Elmhurst Main Hospital Campus in Elmhurst, IL. This full-time role (36 hours/week) operates 7:00 pm–7:30 am, with every 3rd weekend and holiday track, and involves direct patient care under RN supervision.

The ideal candidate will hold CPR certification and have nursing assistant training or equivalent experience, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required (American Heart Association)
• Minimum of 6 months patient care experience or completion of an accredited nursing assistant program or one nursing clinical rotation
• Successful completion of Care Companion Course within six months if required by department

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care tasks under RN guidance per established procedures
• Ensure patient comfort and safety through routine caregiving activities
