Job summary

Brooke Grove Retirement Village is seeking a part-time CNA/Med Tech - Resident Services Associate for evening or night shifts, including every other weekend. The role pays $19–$21 per hour, based on experience, and requires a current CNA and CPR certification with a Medication Technician Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).

The position involves assisting residents with daily activities, meal support, laundry, and medication assistance under nurse guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current CNA
• Current CPR certification and Medication Technician Certification (or obtain within 90 days of employment).

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with bathing, grooming and activities of daily living; observes dental hygiene, nail care, shaving, dressing and eating.
• Maintains building cleanliness; assists with cleaning, preparation and basic maintenance tasks.
• Monitors dining room assistance during meals; assists cook/server and feeding residents.
• Assists with laundry as requested.
• Provides care for incontinent residents by changing undergarments/pads and toileting every two hours or as needed.
• Checks resident condition and safety needs; notifies lead staff of changes.
• Provides medication assistance following assisted living guidelines, with nurse approval.
• Notifies Home Leader/nurse of changes or incidents.
• Ensures residents are prepared for activities and participates in activities.
• Participates in behavioral intervention meetings and applies interventions per plan.
• Responds to life-saving situations per policies and protocols.
• Completes Medication Technician course.
