Job summary

Geisinger in Scranton, PA is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our clinical team. You will perform a range of patient care and clerical duties to support the care plan and ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

This full-time evening/night shift requires reliability, punctuality and teamwork. Eligible candidates may receive a $1500 sign-on bonus and opportunities for tuition support as you advance toward nursing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) - Required
• Ability to perform both clerical and patient care tasks
• Must meet unit qualifications and age range as applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the nursing assistant scope.
• Document patient needs and report changes to licensed personnel.
• Obtain and maintain specimens per policy and physician orders.
• Assist with activities of daily living and care coordination.
• Transport patients and coordinate tests across units.
• Support care team and facilitate patient throughput.
