Pembroke Hospital is a 120-bed acute care inpatient behavioral health facility south of Boston, Pembroke, MA. This full-time Mental Health Associate role offers evening or overnight shifts with weekend requirements and shift differentials. The pay range is $19.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.

As part of Pembroke Hospital’s treatment team, you will listen deeply, understand patient stories, and make a difference in lives we touch through caring for patients of all ages.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Pursuing degree in behavioral health, psychology, or human services preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain composure in a crisis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment.
• Provide routine patient care in a psychiatric setting.
• Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in client behaviors.
• Assist with patient groups and activities.
• Work with culturally and generationally diverse populations to meet individual needs.
• Provide trauma informed and age-specific care.
• Maintain therapeutic boundaries and utilize crisis intervention techniques.
