Job summary

Universal Health Services, Pembroke Hospital, is seeking a Mental Health Associate to join the treatment team. This full-time role offers day, evening, or overnight shifts with competitive weekend differentials for evening, night, and weekend work.

You will help ensure a safe environment, provide routine psychiatric care, and support patient groups, with training on crisis intervention and CPR as part of ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Provide routine patient care in a psychiatric setting.
• Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in client behaviors.
• Assist with patient groups and activities.
• Work with culturally and generationally diverse populations with proper training.
• Learn on psychiatric group processes, age-specific care, trauma-informed care, boundaries, crisis intervention, and CPR.
