Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking a Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA) for evening or overnight shifts in our community. The role focuses on administering medications and providing direct resident care in alignment with individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Active state-approved medication aide/technician certification required.
• Insulin certification preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including medicine distribution per individualized plan.
• Observe residents and report condition changes to physicians and supervisors.
• Document observations, interventions, and routine medication administration.
• Communicate with shift supervisors to ensure timely documentation and smooth handoffs.
• Maintain safe, restraint-free environment and assist with activities of daily living as needed.
