Job summary
The SR Companies is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to support SRIM in Georgia. You will supervise the Resident Services/Nursing Department, administer medications, and ensure high-quality care for residents and families. The role requires a nursing license, 1–2 years' related experience, and strong communication.
You will coordinate with ADORS and DORS, maintain logs and care plans, and support staff during shifts, including nights and weekends. A valid license and HIPAA compliance are essential.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; nursing license required.
- 1–2 years related experience in nursing or assisted living.
- Valid state nursing license is mandatory.
- Ability to use EMR and basic software for reports.
Responsibilities
- Provides hands-on nursing care to residents as needed.
- Supervises non-licensed staff and partakes in evaluations.
- Counts controlled substances with outgoing nurse and ensures accuracy.
- Administers medications with accuracy and follows dosage policies.
- Maintains ECC and LNS logs, service plans, and progress notes.
- Ensures HIPAA compliance and maintains a safe environment.
- Communicates clearly with residents, families, and staff.
