Job summary

Intermountain Health's Primary Childrens Hospital in Salt Lake City is seeking a Custodian / EVS Tech for evening/night shifts (5:00 PM – 1:30 AM) to perform general housekeeping, maintain sanitary conditions, and meet Joint Commission standards.

This full-time position requires physical effort, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Experience with floor care is preferred, and a 40-hour work week is standard.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated professional housekeeping experience.
• Ability to follow written and/or verbal directions.
• Flexible schedule availability to meet department needs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas using department procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals properly according to standards.
• Properly dispose of infectious waste and trash per guidelines.
• Handle and clean up emergency spills per policy and OSHA standards.
• Follow infection prevention practices and PPE protocols.
