Genesis HealthCare System is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform, evaluate and submit results on blood and body fluid specimens received for laboratory analysis. You will maintain test knowledge, ensure specimen integrity and report results through the laboratory information system.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and MLS (ASCP) or equivalent certification, with pathways from MLT or Laboratory Assistant to MLS based on experience.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• One of: MLS program completion, MLS (ASCP) or equivalent certification/registry, or educational/experience equivalence to MLS (ASCP).
• For MLS path: MLT to MLS with 2+ years as Medical Laboratory Technician and MLS cert; or Laboratory Assistant to MLS with 2+ years as Lab Assistant and ASCP specialty certifications.
